The Arrowsmith Mountain Bike Club originally started up in 1994 with approximately 65 members. The Club now enjoys a membership of approximately 150 of all ages. We have regular monthly meetings every second Monday and welcome any volunteer assistance and interest. The Club's focus is on promoting the sport, providing social riding opportunities, trail building and maintenance, training camps, hosting races and most of all having FUN!!
Interested in joining Arrowsmith Mountain Bike Club
To become a member of the Club one must fill out 2 forms. One form is related to a Cycling BC License application which will provide all Club members with medical insurance. Note: The Cycling BC License application can also be completed online through the Cycling BC website.
If you prefer, download, complete and send the Cycling BC application, with the required payment, directly to Cycling BC . Be sure to indicate on the application that you want to be affiliated with Arrowsmith Mountain Bike Club. Once processed, Cycling BC will send you a membership card. Note: The cost of the Cycling BC membership varies depending upon the type of license you require.
Download the second form which is a Club Membership application which provides information about all new members. Complete the Arrowsmith application and then phone Liz (number below) and she will make arrangements for collection. The cost for a 2011 membership is $10.00.
All of the Arrowsmith Club activities, events and races are sanctioned by Cycling BC through our Club affiliation. As a result, a 2011 Club and Cycling BC membership provides medical insurance while participating in those Club activities, events and races. In addition, Club members will also receive a 10% discount at Arrowsmith Mountain Cycle, Island Cycle and Head Over Wheels bike stores.
